MyPhones is committed to seeing technology used to advance the earth, not destroy it. Every device donated or sold to MyPhones is resold, refurbished, or recycled. No devices are thrown away to sit and leak toxins into local landfills.

Although MyPhones may not be able to offer money for all types of devices, we are committed to accepting any device for recycling and seeing that it is properly disposed of.

• Only 11 percent of the 152 million cell phones retired in 2010 were recycled.
• If all cell phones retired each year were recycled, it would save enough energy to power 18,500 homes for a year.
• E-Waste Constitutes 2% of the trash generated in the USA each year, but contributes to 70% of the environmental pollution.
• Recycling one million cell phones allows 35,274 pounds of copper, 772 pounds of silver, 75 pounds of gold, and 33 pounds of palladium to be recovered.
